We wanted to show the work City Year does through the eyes of those it helps. By focussing on the voices of the young students we got the audience to empathise with their journey and the impact City Year has had on their lives.
We spent two weeks researching pupils and mentors until we found the right two. Filming their ordinary day and seeing how City Year worked with them.
We also deliverd a series of short films for social with pupil and mentor reacting to the comments they make about each other.
